DISCOVER YOUR OWN BRAND

Come for network (bring plenty of name cards), meet awesome new friends, enjoy great coffee & cake for every one. Lucky draws too!

Brand creation and brand management is increasingly becoming a critical element in the business environment. In a competitive consumer landscape, products and services need to be differentiated and positioned as being superior to the competition. Brand strategy is therefore an important weapon in an organization’s marketing arsenal.

But is brand strategy merely confined to products and services? Branding is equally applicable to individuals who want to stand out in the business and corporate world. In fact, personal brand development and branding strategy is fast becoming the hallmark of successful individuals who have made a name, or rather a brand for themselves.

How then can one discover or create one’s personal brand?

In this talk, Johnny Ong will show you how you can brand yourself and make this applicable in the business, corporate and social environments.

1. Branding and its significance – What’s in a brand and how it helps companies market their products.
2. Brand values – What are brand values and what is in role in brand creation and brand management.
3 Discovering Your Personal Brand – Using a SWOT analysis to create your personal branding strategy.
4 Developing Your Brand Values – How you can develop your own unique brand values.
5 Enhancing your personal brand – How you can enhance your personal brand image.

Johnny Ong (Master of Business Administration, University of Hull - United Kingdom) has successfully led and trained sales teams in multinational companies across various industries for more than 14 years. He left the corporate world to start his own training and consultancy firm, J Team Training and Consultancy in February 2008. He is the author of Don’t Try To Live Your Life In One Day!, a book on personal development.
Having been a life-long learner, Johnny is a strong advocate of continual learning and self development. A strong believer in self realization, Johnny brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience in self motivation and development.

When: Thu, 18 Dec 08 – 9.30am to 11.30am

Come for network (bring plenty of name cards), meet awesome new friends, enjoy great coffee & cake for every one. Lucky draws too!

Too many businesses still equate good marketing with money. Well, it's true. You need money to do good marketing. You just don't need a lot of money. You simply need to know who you're targeting, what you're saying and how to get to them. Once you've got that, you're often doing better than many of the big spenders. This talk will show you how to develop a simple marketing strategy for your SMEs that is timeless while leveraging the best of the latest marketing tools and techniques.

Frederic Moraillon brings with him 17 years of diversified industry and functional experience enhancing revenues, profits and market share of multinational businesses operating in Asia Pacific. Having navigated through an ever-changing business environment, he has been exposed to conflicting market trends in both mature and emerging markets and has built several high-performances, multi-disciplined teams sharing the same passion for optimising capital, time and resources to deliver revenue.

Frederic currently leads Mindbody’s efforts in Asia Pacific and is responsible for sales, alliances and marketing.

Frederic has lived in Singapore since 1991 and holds a Master in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, a Bachelor (Honours) in Business Studies from University of Buckingham. He has also engaged in postgraduate Information Studies research at Singapore's Nanyang Technological University.

As a part-time hobby, Frederic coaches business executives on marketing, sales, personal branding and CSR. He is an avid coin collector and investor (advising individuals on how to invest in historical coins) and actively writes poetry
